Kaspersky Warns Against The Use Of Artificial Intelligence In Electronic Fraud

uaetodaynews.com — Kaspersky warns against the use of artificial intelligence in electronic fraud
This occurred during his participation in the activities of the GITEX exhibition held in Dubai.
Kaspersky explained that “Internet hackers can feed artificial intelligence systems with misleading data and exploit them in fraudulent schemes,” noting that “hackers are able to use misleading data created by artificial intelligence to cause widespread chaos,” stressing the importance of developing methods and techniques to detect this data and protect users.
Kaspersky added: “Although artificial neural networks were not designed for cyberattacks, artificial intelligence is now widely used by ordinary people and hackers alike. Any artificial intelligence technology can be exploited by hackers, and at the same time we can use these technologies to combat cybercriminals.”
Kaspersky experts had previously warned that fraudsters in Russia had already begun using ChatGPT technologies to launch phishing attacks, while the company’s CEO, Anna Kulashova, pointed out that “artificial intelligence, despite the great opportunities it provides, also carries risks when used incorrectly.”
The GITEX Information Technology Exhibition will be held this year in Dubai from October 13 to 17, with the participation of Russian and international companies specializing in technology and information security.
